This is a 3D-printed Ruby's cube produced by the NYU LaGuardia Studio. It's light-weight and very detailed.
The place where it was created, NYU LaGuardia Studio, is located at 545 LaGuardia Place, only a few minutes walk from the NYU Washington Square campus. The studio offers a range of advanced technologies for 3D printing and 3D scanning, as well as one-on-one consultations. And it welcomes all university clients who are interested in visualization, prototyping, tooling, or fabricating customized end-use production.
The Nexus team took a tour of the studio. The space is a nice resource not only students but also faculty members who need 3D materials for their classrooms. For NYU SPS, a school that focuses on professional studies, these hands-on fabircation environments can be of great use.
